Our school counselors and social worker help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally by providing guidance, support, and resources for students and families. We believe a strong foundation in social-emotional well-being is essential for every child’s success.

Classroom Lessons

Students participate in structured lessons that focus on key social-emotional learning topics, including:

  • Friendship and social skills

Small Group Counseling

Targeted small groups provide support in areas such as:

  • Friendship building
  • Recess and connection time

  • Family changes
  • Stress and anxiety management
  • Conflict resolution
  • Organization and study skills

Individual Counseling

Brief one-on-one counseling is available for students with specific social, emotional, or behavioral needs.

Social Work Support

Our school social worker helps students and families through:
  • Individual support for emotional or behavioral concerns

  • Connecting families with community resources

  • Group programs for social skills, bullying prevention, and coping strategies

  • Crisis intervention and collaboration with staff and agencies

  • Advocacy for student needs and promoting equity
