Happy National School Nurse Day!

Behind every good school, is an amazing school nurse to ensure the health and well-being of our students, staff and community. And we have one of the best at Timber Ridge! Nurse Adrienne is the first person a student thinks to go to when they don’t feel well or have been hurt. She provides a wealth of information that supports a successful education. Thank you, Nurse Adrienne for keeping our Wolves healthy so that they are eager and ready to learn!

Three Cheers for the Toymaker
Three Cheers for the Toymaker

What's better than taking home one toy? Taking home two! Yesterday, our fourth grade Wolves had their FIRST! field trip with the Toymaker Rick Hartman (School of Toy). Our students used scientific principles they learned in class and built electric tops. Once they had successfully transformed potential energy into kinetic, they experimented with static electricity making "butterflies" giddily dance. Now that's hands-on science at work!

Thank you Mr. Hartman and a huge thank you to Timber Ridge Elementary School PTSA for funding an afternoon of educational fun for our fourth graders!
